A cast iron variation on the open fire, in a contemporary matt black finish. The Aga Rembrandt has a beautifully ribbed canopy hood and front plate. With a heat output of up to 3.6kW, the Aga Rembrandt is far more efficient than conventional hearths, as it has a controllable air input at the bottom of the fire door and an adjustable throat plate inside the canopy, which reduces heat loss up the chimney, and ensures fuel efficiency.

This subtly canopied fire is available in 18" for solid fuel to suit standard fire openings. Naturally, as an Aga design, its construction is solid cast iron, with polished brass finials adding a characteristic design detail of quality.

Unlike most open fires, the Rembrandt's cast iron hood radiates heat into your room giving a higher efficiency. It is the only open fire that is HETAS listed.
